1) Must I travel to Switzerland to open my account?
No. You only need to send all the necessary documents to the bank by post. You do not have to travel to Switzerland or live there.

2) How high is the minimum deposit?
Many banks require an opening minimum deposit. In Switzerland, minimum deposits of 1,000 to 10,000 francs (Stutz :o)) is usual. If you open your Swiss account with us, there is NO minimum deposit.

3) What do I need to open an account?
At the moment, only one certified copy of your passport or identity card is necessary. You should be able to get this copy at a reasonable price from a bank, your local government, or a notary public (~5 €).

4) How do I deposit money into my Swiss account?
There are four methods for depositing money:
* Bank credit transfer (from anywhere, worldwide)
* National transfer or number light from Switzerland)
* From an Internet supplier, such as PayPal or moneybookers
* Checks

5) Is there a monthly service fee for my account?
The bank will charge you a monthly processing fee of CHF 2, - (~ 1.50 €), this is cancelled for accounts with a balance of 7,500 CHF (approx. 5,600 euros) or more.

6) Do I get back my money if my account application is rejected?
Yes, you will get back your money if, in spite of proper application and submission of documents, your application is rejected by the bank.

7) Which countries’ citizens may open an account?
You can open an account immediately if you live in one of the following countries or hold citizenship from: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, the Cayman Islands, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the Russian Federation, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, or the Vatican State. Citizens of other countries should contact the bank for more information.

8) How much money will it cost me to open an account?
After the modest fee that you will pay to us and the fee for a certified copy of your passport, there are no costs.

9) Is my solvency or creditworthiness checked?
No. No information about you is gathered, and no authority or bank will know about your Swiss account. No inquiries, registrations with credit offices, or anything else will occur.

10) Do I receive bank statements?
You can see your account balances any time using the online banking system and can print these out. For a small fee, you can choose to have the bank send you monthly statements by email.

11) Can I use my bank / credit card in every country?
Yes, you can use your card worldwide. The fee for a cash withdrawal is CHF 4. -

12) Is there online banking available?
Yes, of course. We offer comfortable online banking with many possibilities free of charge for all accounts.

13) Do I get a line of credit or credit card along with my account?
Unfortunately, not! This account is only debit-based; you will receive no loan from the bank, and no overdrawing of your account is possible.

14) Can I also open company accounts?
Yes, you can open both private and company accounts. No matter whether LTD, PLC, GbR, GmbH, OHG, KG, or S.L. . It is necessary for a manager or a companion to submit a commercial register extract, or a trade registration along with the account application.

15) In which currencies may I base my account?
You may base your account in Euros, US Dollars, or Swiss Francs.

16) How old must I be to open an account?
You must be at least 18 years old.

17) How safe is my money in Switzerland?
Your money is entirely safe. This bank is large and stable. It is one of the ten biggest banks in Switzerland and has hundreds of branches.

18) To whom should I turn if I have any other questions?
Simply contact us using the contact form. When you open your account, you will receive the name and contact information for your personal service representative at the bank.

19) How long will it be before I can use the account?
The whole account initiation process takes approximately 3-4 weeks. With speedy action on your part, you can, to a degree, reduce the amount of time it takes to open an account.

20) Is the account impoundable?
Hardly. A petitioner would have to complain before a Swiss court and obtain a Swiss enforcement title in order to access your account. In addition, a Swiss lawyer must be mandated and the procedure is costly and protracted. In addition, your Swiss bank connection would have to be confessed to the petitioner. No one would ever be able to obtain information from the credit office without knowledge you provide him or her. As long as you do not tell anyone of the existence of your Swiss account, it is 100% secret.

21) Is holding a Swiss account unlawful?
Holding a bank account in Switzerland is as legal for you as holding an account based anywhere else. Only illegal acts committed by persons and the monies resulting from illegal acts are unlawful. The evasion of taxes is punishable in Germany and Austria, and the act is considered independent of where the evaded money has been stored. You cannot be punished for tax evasion in Switzerland.

22) Can I transfer account authority to my partner?
Yes, this is very simple to do. Either your or your partner must co-file signature cards, either immediately upon registration or at any time later.

23) Can I make the account to be an anonymous numbered account?
Anonymous numbered accounts no longer exist in Switzerland. Indeed, some banks still offer so-called numbered accounts where, for example, no names appear on paperwork and papers only feature an account number. Nevertheless, these accounts are tied together with raised costs and a minimum deposit. Even so, the account holder’s true identity is always known to the bank.
