Swiss Bank Account
for everybody!

The Bank Secret

Historically, Swiss banks have been absolutely secret. In particular, in Germany, the tax authorities must turn over extensive information about bank accounts, but this is not the case in Switzerland.

The bank secret is still good in Austria, however, above all, in Switzerland is best, where one calls it, by the way, *Bank Customer Secret*.

"The bank customer has a right of protection of his economic private sphere, the bank has therefore the duty, about all facts which concern her customers, to protect discretion.” says the Swiss banker's union.

In short, this means that a Swiss bank has a duty to protect the data of its customers and that an offence against this duty is punishable under the law.

Even if a person has treated you poorly, or an institution knows about your account in Switzerland, he or she must obtain a court order to gain access to your account. This order will be granted only if a Swiss judge can be persuaded that opening the account is justifiable. Charges of tax evasion are not considered grounds for opening an account, by the way.

The only way your money could be safer is if you buried it somewhere and forgot about it :o]
